Bluffers Sunday July 14

The day started late this time since I had work in the evening and I didn't want to be too tired for that.
Started trolling at about 9:30am. From what I heard on the VHF radio, it was a rather slow morning. At about 10 I got my first hook up. It was a rainbow on a spoon 60 down, 100 back on a swr. I torpedoed the fish back and it looks like it swam off but floated 20 ft away. I swung around to net the fish back but I didnt want to tangle so I reeled in the other rod. I set the rod to release it from the clip and started fiercely reeling in. I had reeled in 50 ft of line or more before I noticed something weird. There was weight! A fish must've hit while I was reeling in?? It turned out to a respectable 25lb king.
Other than that action, I had one knock on the line and that was it.
The conditions out there was great. Minimal east winds. I don't have any pictures at all of this trip but I do have video footage..

The hunt continues...
