Here was a video made of a lake trout caught on lake Simcoe during the month of February this year. Caught on a bucktail in 88 FOW. While fighting this fish, another fish came up to look at my set line but didn't take it.

VIDEO! First ice perch ice fishing!

December 17th 2013 was the first trip of the ice fishing season for me.
We headed to Lake Simcoe to search for some perch and boy did we find perch. Not many bigguns but it was a busy full day of fishing for us.
